Remind Me

Though the tempest ‘round me roll,
It can never harm my soul.
Lord, help me to remember this
When I feel its dreadful pull.

Though I’m chased by angry wolves,
They can never harm my soul.
Lord, help me to remember this
When I hear their vicious growl.

When all I seem to do is wrong;
When darkness robs my heart of song;
Remind me that I’m in Your hand,
That more than death Your love is strong.

When I see how much I fail;
When my love does not prevail;
Remind me that the work is done:
That You will love me through it all.

When Satan drives me to the dust,
And at me fiery arrows thrusts,
Remind me that You’re always there;
Help me in You to keep my trust.

Whatever battles I must face,
Remind me of my Hiding Place,
That from Your hands my little name
Eternity will not erase.
